Omaha

In Omaha the dealer button indicates who is the dealer. The deal moves clockwise between the players.
Omaha is played with two blinds, the “small blind” and the “big blind” just like in Texas Holdem. Before any cards are dealt the blinds must be posted. The player left of the dealer posts the small blind and the next player posts the big blind.
Players receive four cards face down, also known as holecards, after which there is a round of betting.

The Flop

In this round the player to the left of the big blind is first to act. After that there will be three community cards dealt face up on the board and another round of betting occurs.

The Turn

This betting round the “small blind” starts the action. Then another community card, the turn, will be dealt and another round of betting occurs.

The River

Finally the last community card, the river, will appear on the board. The last round of betting occurs. If no more betting takes place there is a showdown to determine the winner.

The players must use exactly two of their four hole cards and three community cards. The best possible five card poker hand wins the pot. If two or more players show the same hand they split the pot.
